Beware the Creepazoids

My new book, Creepazoids: And Other Short Tales, released a little over two weeks ago. My goal for the year 2025 was to publish three books, and it feels awesome to be well on the way to hitting that goal. In its first two weeks of release, Creepazoids has sold a little bit slower than my first book, but has been doing really well on Kindle Unlimited, which is nice. When I add up all the pages read on Kindle Unlimited, Creepazoids is actually ahead of the first book in sales + pages read, so I’m looking at that as a huge win. Short story collections are not an easy sell, especially in this modern landscape where there are millions of books out there competing for readers attention. But this is the path I wanted to take as I returned to writing fiction. I’ve always had a deep love and respect for short stories. Nowadays, it feels a little like they’re a lost art, but I don’t think I’ll ever fall out of love with writing them. As a matter of fact, my third release of the year will also be a short story collection! This time it’s going to be Christmas themed, and the rough draft of the book is about 92% completed, which feels wonderful. However, I’ll save information about that release for later, as there are many months between us and the holiday season!

If you are someone who has bought Creepazoids or read it on Kindle Unlimited, I just wanted to say thank you. Building up an audience as an independent author is a slow process that demands patience, commitment, and a TON of hard work. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. If maybe you’re someone who hasn’t picked up the book yet, may I humbly point you to the following link?
